There are many opinions about car washing, and we do not say that one method is necessarily more correct than others. Nevertheless, we will try to convey two simple paths to the goal of a clean car in a safe manner.
Efficient Wash for a Dirty Car
-
Spray AVA Prewash using a foam cannon.
Cover the car with a thick layer of foam, then gently rinse with a wide nozzle from bottom to top.
For the perfect balance of speed and care, we recommend our AVA 40° nozzle. Want it done even faster? Try the 60° nozzle for an ultra-quick clean. -
Apply a second foam layer and let it sit for a few minutes.
Then wash over with a sponge or microfiber cloth.
Want to save time and protect your paintwork even better? Use the AVA Microfiber Mop – it’s gentle on the surface and keeps your hands cleaner. -
Rinse off all the soap, bottom to top.
Finish with a final rinse from the roof down to ensure all soap is removed.
That’s it – you’re done!
Thorough Yet Easy Car Wash
-
Start with AVA Prewash and foam the car.
Let the foam work its magic for a few minutes (just don’t let it dry on the paint).
Rinse with a pressure washer and a wide spray nozzle, again from bottom to top.
The AVA 40° nozzle is perfect for a fast and gentle clean – or use the 60° nozzle to save even more time. -
Apply a second foam layer using AVA Car Shampoo.
Let it sit for a few minutes, then wash the entire car with a sponge or microfiber cloth.
For a smoother, more enjoyable wash, try our AVA Microfiber Mop – it's efficient and feels great to use. -
Rinse off the soap.
Now it’s time for the finishing touch: -
Protect your car with AVA Pearl Wax.
This smart, easy-to-use wax leaves a protective layer that makes water bead off beautifully – keeping your car cleaner for longer.
Just foam the wax on, wait a few minutes, and rinse off gently (no pressure washer needed – a garden hose works just fine!).
Pro tip: Set the AVA Vario Nozzle to the middle position for low pressure. -
Dry your car with a microfiber drying towel to prevent water spots – and enjoy the shine!
Don’t forget the wheels!
Before you begin washing, spray AVA Wheel Cleaner on the rims. It works while you foam the car – and gets rinsed off when you rinse the shampoo. Easy!
Did You Know?
-
Avoid washing hot paint! Don’t wash right after driving or under a blazing sun – the soap can dry too fast and cause streaks.
-
Wash from bottom to top – this gives you better control and prevents streaking.
-
Warm water boosts cleaning power! Most pressure washers support up to 40°C – perfect for breaking down grime faster. A warm bucket with a splash of car shampoo also works wonders.
-
The AVA 60° nozzle gives you a wide, gentle spray that saves time compared to narrow jets or “eco modes.”
-
AVA Prewash is solvent-free but powerful – tough on dirt, gentle on your car and the environment.
-
If foam dries on the surface – just apply more and rinse off. Simple.
