  • Google Analytics is used for traffic analysis. IP addresses are not stored, but visit patterns are stored so we can see which parts of the website receive traffic.
  • Trustpilot is used to send, receive, and process invitations for service and product reviews on behalf of AVA of Norway. Trustpilot acts as a data processor for these purposes. AVA of Norway is the data controller for these purposes.

These service providers are contractually obligated to protect your information and only use it for specified purposes.

To ensure the successful delivery of your purchases, we share necessary personal information with our trusted shipping partners. This includes your name, delivery address, and contact details, which are only shared for the purpose of completing your order and ensuring safe and timely delivery. All tracking codes are run and managed via Google Tag Manager.

  • Google Analytics: This analytics tool is used to study traffic, usage patterns, and trends on our websites. According to Google's guidelines for using Google Analytics, no personal information about you as a user is collected. The data collected is stored on Google's servers.   • Meta Pixel: Meta Pixel is used to manage and measure the effect of advertising on social media. By tracking the actions users take on the website, we can improve advertising campaigns, create smart audiences, and conduct remarketing. Meta Pixel is used for Facebook, Instagram, Messenger, and the use of Meta Pixel therefore also covers these channels. The analytics tools of these media provide us access to statistics that tell us which pages were visited as a result of an advertising campaign, and what actions were taken (ordering/contact form). This information is anonymized.

Deletion of Personal Data

When you shop at AVA of Norway, we need the product, name, address, and email. This is necessary to send your order to the correct delivery address and to contact you if needed. We are obligated to retain the information for accounting, tax management, and any warranty/return processing. This history is not deleted. We also retain the IP address used to register the order for security purposes.

If you register a warranty on your product or contact customer service, the conversation and provided information will be stored in our CRM systems so that we can assist you more easily if needed at a later time.
